Desktop Support Analyst Jobs in New Jersey, USA

Our client, is a CPA firm located in NJ with an ever-growing client base. They are annually on a list of one of the top companies in NJ to work for & keep thinking of better ways to improve their employees’ work experience! They have approximately 125 employees and are looking to add an additional candidate to our IT team.  You will work closely with internal staff members as well as support our clients which range from (small-mid) size companies to Fortune 500’s. Your role will be a mix of both phone and desktop support; in addition to break/fix diagnostics of (PC/laptops), mobile devices, printers and Audio/Visual setups.

Required Skills

  • Technical Support of our 125 user base encompassing both phone & desktop support
  • Audio/Visual Setup – including VOIP phones, conference bridges, video Conferences, etc.
  • End user Support with various issues pertaining to Windows 7 / 8 / and Windows 10
  • MS Office 2010 support (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • Remote Desktop assistance
  • VPN support/troubleshooting
  • Troubleshooting and repair of desktops/laptops
  • Mitigation and removal of viruses/malware
  • Provide additional assistance to IT Dept. as various projects arise

Desired Skills and Experience


Required Experience

  • 2-3 years’ technical support experience in a small to mid-size firm
  • A+/Network+ certification – Other certifications are a PLUS
  • Technically well versed in Windows 7 / 8 / & Windows 10
  • Previous experience using various desktop support ticketing systems
  • Experience with Office 2010, QuickBooks, Quicken, Adobe Acrobat, & SQL
  • Previous experience with VOIP phone technology, configuration & setup
  • Knowledge of Windows system migration/user profiling
