Senior C# Developer in Midtown Manhattan, New York City

Our firm, the largest media & financial market data company in the world, is currently seeking a skilled senior level. Net software engineer/developer (C#) with a solid background in large scale web application development. This person will work closely with internal groups and other IT teams. The role will have experience in hands-on development and delivery and support of distributed, enterprise-level customer facing applications.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years’ software engineer/developer experience in a structured software development environment
• Proven knowledge of C# and .Net framework (ASP.Net, including MVC and Web API, LINQ, asynchronous programming)
• Experience in load testing and tuning web application and web services performance
• Experience in XML/XSD, web services SOAP/REST, WCF, web service security
• Solid understanding of architecture of web core services and object oriented design
• Experience designing or architecting large-scale web applications with web services
• Experience with agile methodologies and continuous integration
• Familiarity with Javascript Frameworks like AngularJS a plus
• Familiarity with directory services and the LDAP Client/Server Model a plus
