This position is crucial for the organization as the person will be the point person for all things Cisco for the organization! You will be working with Cisco Routers (6509 , E Series) Cisco Switches (4500’s , 3600’s, & 2800’s) You will also be working with Backups, Video Conferencing, VOIP, Telco & all things Cisco! They are also funning Cisco ASA firewalls that you will assist with on the security side.
The organization has over 30 locations but 3 core sites, all of which are located in NYC!
Their ideal candidate will have :
3+ years of hands on experience with Cisco Routers & Switches
A Cisco Certification – CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE
Strong Routing Protocol Knowledge – EIGRP, BGP. IPSECetc..
Cisco Core Switch Experience
Strong Documentation Skills (Visio is required)
Solid Knowledge & Experience with Telecom
A Cisco Certification – CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE
