The company is looking for someone with real “under the hood” knowledge of software engineering. They use mostly Ruby On Rails, but anyone with REAL experience in Ruby On Rails, PHP, Java Etc…will be fine. As long as it’s an open source language & you can go beyong the framework you are the right fit!
You will be developing some of the most exciting & well known apps & products on the web when it comes to entertainment. They would really prefer someone who has experience in high traffic websites (over a BILLION monthly hits) YES BILLION. Candidates with an E Commerce background will also do well here.
Desired Skills and Experience
This role will require someone with :
- 5+ Years of Extensive “Under The Hood” Experience with Ruby On Rails (preferred) , PHP, Java Etc…
- Someone who goes beyond the basic framework & understands Software Engineering
- Experience in Relational Databases
- Experience in High Traffic & High Availability Websites is Required
- A TRUE passion for software development & coding
